About Us
Home Set Match Inc. started off as an idea—an ambitious, slightly sleep-deprived idea. Hi, I’m Shruti, the founder. By day, I work as a motion designer (basically, an animator who brings designs to life), but my heart has always been in home décor and interior design.
Born and raised in Southern India and now calling Canada home, I found myself daydreaming about blending the rich, vibrant textiles my homeland is famous for with the cozy, laid-back vibes of North America. This fusion of cultures sparked the idea for Home Set Match—a brand that brings together comfort, style, and a commitment to making a difference. And the name? That’s a nod to my husband’s undying love for tennis and is inspired by the phrase game, set, match.
I source our fabrics from Tirupur, a town in Southern India that’s globally renowned as a hub for premium cotton and textile production. Known as the “Knitwear Capital of India,” Tirupur is celebrated for its expertise in crafting high-quality, sustainable fabrics. By partnering with manufacturers here, I’m able to bring the artistry and excellence of South Indian textiles to North America.
What We Stand For
At Home Set Match, we believe that comfort doesn’t have to come at the expense of the planet. That’s why we use sustainable fabrics like Tencel™ and Cotton, ensuring you can sleep soundly while treading lightly.
But it’s not just about fabrics—it’s about the future. We’ve committed to donating 3% of every sale to causes that make the world a better place:
- 1% to Nature Conservancy of Canada to protect natural areas that sustain Canada’s plants and wildlife.
- 1% to Canadian Red Cross to provide humanitarian aid to people around the world.
- 1% to SickKids Foundation to support children and their families when they need it most.
And this is only the beginning. As we continue to grow, so will the positive change we create. Our mission is to reach and uplift as many lives as we can.
So, whether you’re snuggling up in our sustainable bedding or cheering us on from the sidelines, know this: you’re part of something bigger—a community that cares about a better tomorrow.
